If I had a million dollars...I'd buy me a second audition for the Irish Legend solo.
If I had a million dollars...I'd buy me a brain wired for composing music.
If I had a million dollars...I'd buy me a car.
If I had a million dollars...I'd buy me some time.
If I had a million dollars...I'd buy me a 4.0 and a couple 5s on my AP tests.
If I had a million dollars...I'd buy me mental stability.
If I had a million dollars...I'd buy me a water buffalo. ( haven't you always wanted one?)
If I had a million dollars...I'd buy me a rewind button.
If I had a million dollars...I'd buy me some better lunch.
If I had a million dollars...my problems would be solved. My Hakuna Matata in paper form. Mmmm. I hate it when life seems to hard to take. And it seems sometimes that the answers to all of your problems are, in fact, more time or a water buffalo..when really, none of it will do it for you. But, feeling like the solutions are so close, yet just out of reach makes it all just that much more unenjoyable to bear. Today was one of those days..If I'd just won that lousy game of rock paper scissors. If I'd just studied a little bit harder. If I'd waited a little bit longer. If I'd have a memory. If I'd used a kinder tone. If I'd just had enough to buy a car. If my phone didn't die all the time...If..If..If..my life would be so much better. But you know what? Life isnt about having all the answers, it is about finding them. We are supposed to find "Joy in the Jouney"..but where is the journey if we have all the answers? The journey is in the search..find joy in the search.
If I had a million dollars...it wouldn't buy me what I already have. Legs..and arms. A family that isnt always on the same page as I am, but that I love dearly. Friends. Talents. Knowledge of the true gospel and a Heavenly Father who loves me. What other answers do I need?
If I had a million dollars...I'd buy be a lifetime supply of Reeses cups..to eat while I enjoy my journey :)
