On most of my birthdays I have been asked the question, "Do you feel any different?" Usually I respond in a way similar to "Ummm..not really." However, this birthday..this birthday was different. I DID feel different. It was quite an amazing day, but it was separate from that particular overflowing happiness feeling. It was just...different. Anyhow, we'll start on the night of the 24th. My dearest Madison inspired me to live my last childhood moments to their fullest...meaning that I go to the park with some stuffed animals and take pictures. I was skeptical at first, but I caved. What a great story it would be to tell. It worked out even better than planned when my wonderful dad happened to be awake and offered to go with me. :) These pictures document the last 16 minutes before my age turned and the unlimited knowledge and wisdom overtook my soul.

This hurts..not my head..but the backs of my knees ached. Ohh to be young again..(hehe :)

Such deep thoughts of a child...

Haha...this gives the allusion that I actually sleep..Haha

This was just a another picture..but it was also the last one we took. Symbolic...? hmmm..naw. ( I think that AP English is finally getting to me..)
So, that was my night. I went home and opened a time capsule from when I was 8, which was neat. Then I headed to bed. I had a big day ahead.
I was really excited to do early morning baptisms with the Young Women, but that didn't work out for me. It's ok though, the day was still better than I could of imagined. It started with breakfast. Peanut Butter Crunch! And...a very special box of Wheaties. Why so special you ask? Well see for yourself!

Yes! That is ME on the front of that Wheaties box! How you ask? I honestly couldn't tell ya, but it is legit. On my first date Britt, my date for the day, I told him that one of my dreams and lifetime goals was to have my face on a box of Wheaties along with dancing in a Chicago Parade to Twist and Shout just like my dear friend Ferris Beuler. Anyways, the point is..he did it for me. He got my face put on the front of a box of Wheaties. I was speechless. A dream come true, literally.
These are two of the three best children's books ever..I also opened these before breakfast. My favorite is How to Paint the Portrait of a Bird. I'd tell you all about it, but that is for another post..

Then we ate the real cereal..

Is this not the cutest bowl you've ever seen? If I wasn't me and i didn't own it already, I'd be jealous..

I did have to go to school, which was a drag. But AFTER school, the
amazingness continued with 18 orange balloons and a sock monkey. :)

Mini golfing. I won..but i think it's 'cause he let me.

I definitely hit my ball over the fence..this is Britt trying to retrieve it for me..haha..which didn't go well. BUT..we found a yellow one and decided it was better because his was red..so it was like ketchup and mustard..:)

Despite my overzealous putting..i still managed a hole in one..a couple...if i remember right.

Well, wouldn't YOU take a picture by the wicked cool Teepee if you saw one? Well, we would, obviously...

Dinner at Macaroni Grill (my favorite Restaurant)..I looove doodling on the table cloths.

We watched Stardust and ate cupcakes after that.
So..this may be..is actually..totally and completely no doubt about it, the Reader's Digest of The Reader's Digest Version of the summary..it's true. If you want the whole thing, (*cough* Madison *cough* ) you can ask because I'd be more than happy to give you the scoop. But, if you're happy with the aroma and quick glance of the story that i've given you, then 'm sorry. I'd try to be happy for you, but I know what you are missing out on, so it deeply saddens me to my inner core. I'm sorry for your loss. Have a Fabulous day..I've had mine. I may have taken my quota for life just from this one day..but it was worth it. I couldn't have asked for more. :)
